Peter Ward is General Manager of Electrone Europe and joined the company in April 2006 to oversee the expansion into the UK and EMEA.

Beginning work as an R&D analyst at IBM in 1964, Peter began a wide-ranging international IT career by spending two years with United Bank in Pakistan.

Peter then spent twelve years with NCR Corporation (Middle East and Africa) where he moved from Sales Manager to Financial Systems Director for the Arabian Gulf. From 1983 to 1987 he became Vice President of Capbanc Computer Corporation (later Baton Rouge International).

Peter then spent some time as Associate Director of Kapiti Ltd before re-joining BRI as Vice President for a further nine years.

In 1998 to 2000 he returned to NCR to work as a Senior Consultant for banking solutions in Central and Eastern Europe. More recently Peter has been UK General Manager of US-based Satmark Media Group, an Executive Consultant and inter-regnum General Manager for Diebold EMEA in both South Africa and Germany, and MD of ATMedia Ltd.

He also consulted for Neptune Software Plc and Wincor Nixdorf.

He has been a Fellow of the British Computer Society since 1976 .
