A customer had a successful, but arcane hardware and software system, not supplied by Electrone. The hardware was no longer supported. The critical ware item was similar to currently available units, but, it was not the same, and thus a problem.

They did not want to be forced in to an upgrade, re-train personnel, and revise software due essentially to one hardware item.

The mission for Electrone was to adapt current production parts to solve the shortage.

The problem was solved with a little custom electronics and firmware. Now whenever they need a new part they call Electrone and new parts are available from stock.
