Compliance to EU Directive 2002/95/EC
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
The RoHS Directive calls for the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment with the objective of the Directive to reduce the amount of these materials from entering the waste stream. This Directive took effect on July 1, 2006 and bans placing on the European Union market any new electrical or electronic equipment products containing more than the specified levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

The RoHS Directive holds the end product manufacturer, re-brander or importer responsible for product content. Electrone Europe and Electrone Americas are active participants in the transition to compliance.
Electrone is committed to analyzing each stage of operations with the cooperation and full support of our strategic suppliers. We continually monitor our design and manufacturing process to evaluate and ensure that our product compliance will maintain our high level of quality control.
The Electrone quality control process aims at ensuring traceability and certificates of conformance can be prepared for shipments if required by our customers. Our product line already includes a range of mini keyboards, keypads and custom designed products that are RoHS compliant.
