However, Electrone prides itself in meeting the requirements of all sized customers and markets so will re-design and enhance either new or existing products to meet the requirements of specific customers no matter the size of the project. Electrone has the ability to take standard products and customize the firmware, communications sub-sets and even the physical layout of the device to meet individual and market-specific requirements.

Electrone can also custom-build or adapt existing systems to allow migration from legacy environments to integrate with new technology solutions. A prime example is the Electrone Keypad range. Historically these serial devices were utilized in a number of different industry solutions. As USB connectivity became accepted, Electrone re-engineered the product and worked with customers to add custom firmware where applicable so that USB connectivity could be integrated into the legacy environments. Today, as customers look to IP connectivity, Electrone has evolved the Keypads to include an IP version of the product and is again working with customers to enhance the firmware and give customers the ability to integrate legacy applications with the latest connectivity environments.

Electrone has also taken its 15X keyboard and enhanced it to meet specific industry-sector requirements as these sectors move from proprietary hardware to PC-based controllers with industry-standard applications. Functionality is now built into the units to deliver the features that these new sectors require - USB connectivity with USB hubs in-built, backlit keys, a large number of programmable keys and 2-line graphical displays.
