Electrone has developed a specific version of its popular 720 IP key pad which allows it to operate as a remote unit for access control, monitoring and MIS functions in a network managed by the IMMIX application from SureView Systems.

The 720 key pad can now be used to trigger a series of predefined events within the IMMIX application which can include PIN entry verification, CCTV camera activation, event logging of personnel movements and simple activation of magnetic door locks.

The custom firmware of this 720 also allows the 720 to communicate with any application which can recognise standard messages in an SMTP format. This allows the unit to communicate with a wide range of applications in a number of market sectors. The unit can have either 1 or 2 part identification through the use of multiple PIN inputs. It can also be configured with back-up IP address communications functionality.
